Brief biography and filmography: Maria Batova was born in 1993 in Moscow. In 2015, she graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Department of Philology, in 2017-Master's degree at the VGIK named after S. A. Gerasimov, Screenwriting and Film Studies department(workshop of Yu. N. Arabov, T. A. Dubrovina, N. E. Marievskaya and D. V. Sobolev). At the moment, she is a postgraduate student; she teaches literature and drama.
