The X Moscow International Film Festival "Let's Live" opened on Poklonnaya Hill
The night before, on August 27, the X Moscow International Film Festival "Budem Zhit" (Let's Live), traditionally timed to the Day of Russian Cinema, opened on Poklonnaya Hill. The festival will last until September 3. The popular venues are the Central House of Cinematographers, the "Poklonka" Cinema, the pavilion cinema on Poklonnaya Hill, the Documentary Film Center.

The opening ceremony of the show was held on Poklonnaya Hill. The guests of the evening were Maxim Averin, Vladimir Devyatov, Nikita Dzhigurda, Zinaida Kiriyenko, Pavel Lungin, Nikas Safronov, Larisa Shakhvarostova and many others.

Evgeny Gerasimov, President of the Film Festival, People's Artist of Russia: "This year we are holding the tenth festival. Today, it has its own face, its own traditions, its own audience. The festival has a very true motto: "Preserving the best, we think about the future of our cinema". This is what distinguishes our show: here are the works of young, charismatic filmmakers and masters, people who have long won their name. Based on the traditions of Russian culture, we are promoting the future of Russian cinema."

Nikita Mikhalkov, Chairman of the Union of Filmmakers of Russia, film actor, film director: "I want to wholeheartedly congratulate the festival on its tenth anniversary. This would seem to be a short time. But for the festival, this is already an indicator that it is needed and enjoys success. At this forum, both viewers and filmmakers get to know new works that should improve our Russian cinema. Of course, the festival would not have existed if it had not been for Evgeny Gerasimov, People's Artist of Russia its inspirer and organizer. I would like to congratulate him on the anniversary of the festival, and wish all participants success. I hope the festival will be interesting and useful."

Participants of the full-length, documentary and short programs of "Budem Zhit" (Let's live) were introduced from the stage. As part of the festival, "The Island" a film by Pavel Lungin, which was filmed 15 years ago, was honored. From the stage, Pavel Lungin thanked the audience and the organizers, and also paid tribute to the memory of Pyotr Mamonov the performer of the main role and his friend.

The 10th Moscow International Film Festival "Budem Zhit" (Let's Live) will be held from August 27 to September 3. 8 full-length feature films, 17 short feature films, 9 documentaries from 8 countries were selected for the competition program.

The following events will be held within the framework of the educational and non-competitive program of the festival:
- Moscow pitching of debutants with the prize fund of 1 million rubles
- open-talk: "From boomers to zoomers. The history of Russian web series"
- open-talk: "Promotion of impact content in Russia"
- showings of last year winners of the festival
- an evening in memory of A. B. Stefanovich and the showing of "Flight of Margarita", a documentary film
‒ an out-of-competition showing of the documentary almanac: "You are from the future"
- master classes and special screenings from the film school "TSEKH –
- round table: "The role of cinema in the development of electronic media".

The closing ceremony of the festival will be held on September 3 at the Central House of Cinematographers. Kirill Zaitsev's military short drama " Sashka. Diary of a soldier" will be shown.
