Biography:
Anna Artemyeva was born in Moscow. She graduated from the cinematography and directing department (animation directing department) of VGIK. In 2019, she entered the DocNomads Master's degree in Documentary Film Directing, located in Portugal, Hungary and Belgium. Her diploma animated film "Once upon a Time there was a Mother" was selected for more than 50 festivals around the world (Russia, Ukraine, Great Britain, Bosnia, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Georgia, Poland, Argentina, Germany, Belarus, Greece, Austria, Italy, France, Finland) and received more than 25 awards. As a cameraman in collaboration with director Elena Laskari, she has made more than 15 documentaries.
