A little girl wakes up in the middle of a watermelon field. She hears voices coming from the watermelons. These are the stories of women and their fears. "A Watermelon Seed" is a documentary animation about the fears of being a mother. The film is about love - the most sincere love – that of a mother.

Elena Kabanova was born and raised in the city of Anapa. Director, cameraman, screenwriter, editor. -2003-2016 – student of "Luna Park" Academy of Dance Sports , World Champion, European and Russian Champion in dance sports, Candidate Master of Sports. -2016-2021 – Higher education - All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography named after S. A. Gerasimov-Specialty "Film and TV directing". Graduated with diploma cum laude. -2020 - became the winner of the Black Sea pitching of debutants. -2020 - "Watermelon Seed" project receives state subsidies for national films from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
